There's just something about that herb goat cheese that Diamond R Produce stocks at their booth every Lake Havasu Farmers Market. We can't get enough of it, and as of 4:11 p.m. on the day of the farmers market, we've already eaten it all, and by "we" I mean "I, Tara, have eaten the entire container of goat cheese on my own."
And here's how I did it:
1 Buttermilk Bun, sliced and toasted (also from our friends at DRP)
1 entire container of herb goat cheese, slightly warmed for spreadability
Fresh tomato, sliced
Ground black pepper
A healthy pinch of our own spicy salad mix to top
It was delicious, and my only regret is that I didn't think to finish it off with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil before scarfing it all down.
